It was the best of times, it was the worst of times
My agency business is looking like it’s 4xing MRR in the next 2 months.
This is more revenue than I’ve ever seen, or know what to do with.
Couple contracts out for signatures/verbal commits in place.
Even if half of it materialises I’m so grateful.
Scratch that, I’m grateful. Period.
I used to earn $350/mo well into my twenties.
This past year has been financially the most fruitful.
I may all go to zero again. In fact, I didn’t have a great quarter at work and as we all know in sales- you’re only as good as your last quarter.
I’ve been so stressed, yet I’m still so grateful.
Truly feel the Dickensian framing “it was the best of times it was the worst of times”
You gotta realise- my parents never believed in me. I was not supposed to have even this modicum of success. At least that’s what my conditioning told me
Doing scary things, with very little support has been the thing that has increased my self belief and pain tolerance.
It’s a lonely path like that penguin that’s gone viral this past week.
But it’s my path and I love it. Amor fati, as the Greeks would say.
